  1. I never really liked that quote, because as politics have proven, some people have more than one, and I have yet to see anyone with two butts.

    But anyway, to me, unbiased does not mean you keep your opinion on how the team played out of the story. If the team you're covering sucked, go ahead and say it. Unbiased means you keep your opinion of the players and coaches as people out of the story, as well as your feeling about the team. If you root for them in private, that can't be reflected in your story. Same as if you hate them in private.

    Opinions on what they do on the court, however, are fair game. If John Public made several mistakes that cost his team the ballgame, you can go ahead and say that.

    Unbiased isn't no opinions. It's giving your honest opinion on what they did on the court.
