Around here, any thread concerning politics, religion, or race is a hot button topic.

Not sure why this surprises anyone. People have been interested in other people since there were, you know, people.

The Alexander Hamilton sex scandals during the Washington administration sold tens of thousands of newspapers.

Did people not care about Gingrich's infidelities or was he not taken seriously enough by Americans for it to matter? Three times married, twice to his mistresses, he might have had the least personal morals of anyone to win a primary since Jesse Jackson.

Clinton skated for a variety of reasons, including personal magnetism, a childish and ham-handed opponent and a good economy. If a President can have low unemployment, low interest rates, low gas prices and an increasing stock market he or she could screw a goat as the Super Bowl half time show and the country wouldn't care.

Again, it falls in the category of people are screwed up. I personally don't care who the president is screwing or has screwed. It doesn't put a nickle in my pocket or take a nickle out.

Why does it bother you so much? It would be so easy to ignore, but you actually seem to be offended.

What does this story have to do with politics, religion, or race?

It falls in the category of 'human nature.'

And what puts or does not put a misspelled nickel in your pocket is irrelevant.

So what did Obama put on the record player when he was setting up for bow-chicka-wow-wow time? Details, people!

Are we going to find out Obama nailed Nancy Lieberman?

If his smooth with the ladies includes deconstructing 'The Waste Land,' gotta be this, right?

Not human nature. If you care who this guy has bedded or his bedding, you've got some issues.

A.) Who said anything about 'bedding?'

B.) You don't think gossip, or even simple curiosity, is 'human nature?'

So does Marannis "have issues"? Does basically every biographer, ever, have issues?

He's not detailing the guy's bedroom skills, he's detailing the formative relationships in his life.

Best I can tell, he talks about two women, who were important in Obama's life. How do you leave them out of a biography?
