    Why must one be cynical about Obama, but not McCain? Of this, I'm curious.

    For the 23,000th time . . . Ahmadinejad never never never never never never never "pledged to wipe Israel off the map."

    Failure to understand that one simple statement is staggering, given the number of places where you can find the truth (if, however, you are actually inclined to learn the truth).

    Ahmadinejad's "threat" was the same as Khruschev's "we will bury you" and the same as our insistence that capitalism would bury communism.

    Not with rockets or missiles. But through the internal failings of whoever was being "threatened."

    Just as communism collapsed, Ahmadinejad believes Israel is doomed to collapse. It's a belief rooted on his religion, no more outrageous than the thought that God actually blesses America (or any nation).
