Repeating myself from an earlier page, and I realize this will come off as very partisan, but the Bush Administration lied us into a war and bullied their political opponents and misled us and hid information from us and, oh yeah, STOPPED HUNTING OSAMA BIN LADEN BECAUSE THEY WERE MORE INTERESTED IN SADDAM HUSSEIN. I think it's fair to look at their history and Obama's history and weigh the actions and responses differently.

You are acting as if the situations and histories are equal. They most certainly are not.

If the U.S. Army was flying them, it would be a Chinook, or CH-47, which is capable of carrying 43 men with full combat loads, and many more in "seats-out" operations.

If the CIA was flying them, it was most likely an old Russian MI-8. About the same size as a Chinook, but can carry much more weight and is much, much cheaper. Doesn't have all the bells and whistles, either.

I doubt there's any new, stealth helicopter. Just the thought of that doesn't make sense.

Shows you what I know. That's definitely not either of the helicopters I thought it could've been. And it's certainly not of the UH-60 variety -- the tail boom is too short and it has six (I think) tail rotor blades.

"The left" is not a monolith. The entire American left was not calling George W. Bush a murderer, nor calling for his trial in The Hague. Any on the left who were doing that are idiots, and certainly no friends of mine.
