You know, if you're going to take out the mike stand, shouldn't you also take damn cord?

I can't understand why somebody felt the need to erase the microphone stand in the first place.

  4. Supposedly there wasn't a mike stand - just a dangling cord which was in motion when the picture was taken:

I'm no fan of the NYT but on this I'll give them the benefit of the doubt.

So you could see a few more blurry faces in the background.

I'm not a photoshop wizard by any stretch, but that's about as amateurish a job as I've seen.

On the positive side, it's good to see Chris L doing his part to entertain the troops!

I see that picture and the first thing I hear in my head is "These boots are made for walkin', and that's just what they'll do. One of these days these boots are gonna walk all over you..."

Only thing, though, is that the bottom of the cord seems to be too still. You'd expect the blurriness to fade, not just abrputly stop.

I'm not buying that as a legitimate pic, either. If the cord had been moving back and forth, then you'd have seen a blackish blur in the area where something was clearly taken out.

    Obligatory song lyric ...

    Hot legs, making your mark
Hot legs, keep my pencil sharp
Hot legs, keep your hands to yourself
    I love you honey
Hot legs, you're wearing me out
Hot legs, you can scream and shout
Hot legs, are you still in school
    I love you honey

There is a grayish blur against the wall. I buy it. If they were going to photoshop it, they would have done a better job.
