    The middle school social studies teachers I know cover the Trail of Tears pretty extensively.

    School in general is fixated on STEM, because those are the skills useful to make tech companies lots of employees who make CEOs lots of money.

    It’s always fun to point out to Republicans that Southern Dems were conservatives. Most of them can’t grasp that philosophy did not fall on strict party lines back then.

    Weird how things like a better education and being around more diverse people leads to being more liberal. Must be a conspiracy.

    I know little about the Klan and nothing about Prager U, but that "claim" - if you're doubting its authenticity (can't tell) - is probably true.

    The Democrats were the pro-slavery party in the mid-19th century, after all.
