Hasta la vista. We've got a parade to get ready for.

Mayor's statement in advance of clearing the park.

Interesting quote for our legal scholars: "No right is absolute and with every right comes responsibilities."

People massing this morning at Foley Square for a march.

Not much support for OWS in the end. Only 200 or so were at the park.

Still plenty of support for OWS, I think. "200" was the maximum load for camping in the park. It's a relatively tiny space. So there have only been a couple hundred overnighters since it began. Numbers swell of course during the day.

It'll be interesting to see what the marches turn out this morning. Also interesting to see how many folks go back to the park.

I like the one at Harvard where you have to show your student ID to Occupy Harvard Yard.

I'm sure the salesmen at Brooks Brothers will enjoy very deeply even a brief break from the drum circle.

Looks like one NYC newspaper might have known about the raid in advance, and one didn't:

Murdoch is swinging at OWS like Ryan Miller swung his goalie stick at Milan Lucic Saturday night.

If confirmed, the thing that really gets me about the OWS eviction is the trashing of the donated library. What a monstrous touch.

    Oh no, the Library.

The Library was always b.s. It's sole purpose was for a day like this.
