Its protein-rich, crickets in particular, and there are people who believe that this trend poised to ignite a quinoa-like food craze.

    Eating bugs is paleo diet-friendly!

There was a guy on Shark Tank last season who made his own "cricket flour" and energy bars out of it:

    (It's the first segment.)

He got a $50,000 investment from Mark Cuban:

    Is cricket flour vegan-friendly?

Sadly, our vegan authority, Devil, hasn't been around for a while.

My grandfather who lived across the street when I was a kid was a crazy redneck who was raised during the Great Depression, so I grew up eating non-traditional meats — squirrels, frog legs, rabbit, goat, deer, emu, turtle, armadillo, etc. Thing is, I just don't think that stuff tastes that good.

There's a reason that chicken, beef and pork are the top meat products --- they taste the best. For all the "it tastes like chicken" bullshit, so does chicken — and it's cheaper.

Not interested in eating bugs. Sure I've seen chocolate covered ants and the like, but there's a reason they have to cover it in chocolate.

Lamb called and wants to know why it was left off the list of delicious meats.
