Football is the perfect sport to watch in a bar.

You would be better off getting Knicks season tickets or splitting a Yankee package.

This is good advice. At least the Knicks and Yankees count for something.
The Jets are like the Mets: They don't really count.

Knick tickets could be gold next year.

I'm convinced the Knicks won't win until I'm dead.

Or until Charles Smith is dead.

I agree with you and Ragu, but watching from home might not be an option for Jets fans this year:

Again, this is why I completely enjoy no NFL team in Los Angeles.

I was going to post something about that as well.

The NFL is better off without a team in LA. Ratings are higher without one, as a local team's broadcasts would likely be blacked out.

And they get to use it as a threat to other cities as a potential place to move a team.

. . . but given that LBJ knows PRECISELY what Dolan is . . . not likely.

Barnum shakes his head in (at least temporary) wonderment, as the modern
sports-marketing thinking re "the sleazy, racketeering modern dirtbag-with-money will buy ANYTHING" has yet to fully pan out, in this situation.
