Oh and I also look forward to the reaction of JDV's buddy cranberry, who sniffed a few weeks ago that the Daily News and T.J. Quinn, et al, did "one" piece on steroids a few years ago.

I feel ill hearing about this. I love the Cubs (and strongly dislike the Cards) but still thought it was a great story.

I don't think it's too great anymore.

 

Boo hoo. Poor Mr. Ankiel, who has been a total fucking ass to the media. Good. He deserves it.

do tell, Cosmo. I remember reading he was kind of a dick in the spring of 2001, and he sounded like a robot during the Gammons interview a few weeks ago, but I was willing to give him a pass for those.

 

Expand on this, please. I'm not that close to the Cardinals clubhouse.

 

I've heard stories (maybe even read them here) about how much of an ass he was on his minor league assignments in Kingsport, etc.
