does anyone else here find the daily news' reporting of roger clemens' affairs sort of unjournalistic? it seems pretty clear the paper is receiving the information from McNamee's people (layers, etc), then reporting it. that doesn't trouble me, as long as the info is accurate. but it seems wrong to report the info, then ask McNamee's people for comments. i know this is a practice often used to protect sources (if they weren't quoted, it'd be obvious that they had provided the info), but i don't think it's right.

    thoughts?
