    It's all so wonderfully Canadian.

While Mitsuing was at the courthouse before the doors officially opened, he left to run errands and grab some food, resulting in his absence from the morning trial.

O'Neill said he couldn't hear what Mitsuing was shouting, but was confident in identifying the bear as a grizzly,

After finding Mitsuing and his friends at the hot springs too intoxicated to drive, RCMP impounded the vehicle and dropped the group off at a local hotel.

Fun exercise: write this as a page 4 filler in the NY Post.

The provincial motto is 'making the best of a bad situation'.
I'm kidding. I love Saskatchewan. I'm driving through there in a few weeks to get to Manitoba. My dad was from there.

I thought the lead was kind of boring and shitty.

Agreed. The story needed more teeth.

    Man bites grizzly bear

Yeah, that would be a better story. Sure to get a better lede lead, too.

Yeah, that's like the famous "Man bites dog" headline. Now that's good stuff!

The response of Mrs. jlee, who is from the area: “Only $4000? They should have just let the bear handle it“
