Why can't I remember this episode, aside from the Smithers bit?

I'm in the same boat, Clever. As soon as I finish Season 9 of Seinfeld and the Seasons 5 and 6 of Scrubs, I'll begin watching The Simpsons from the start through 8. Then I'll be close to almost up to par with these schmucks.

 

Except this is, without looking, season 19, I believe. You've got some work to do. I haven't had cable for three years, so I'm behind on the newer stuff.

 

I'm way behind, too. The earlier discs were on clearance a few weeks ago, so I was the beneficiary of some good fortune. By the time I crawl out of my hole, another season will be on sale.

Sorry, I had a game to cover tonight so I missed today's episode.

I was watching some of season five the other day, which might be, top to bottom, my favorite season.

 

Whatever.

I'd just like to say that 22 Short Films about Springfield was on in my area tonight.
It was still funny after 4,546,694,103 viewings.

 

That's a great line ... obviously.
