I would first need to explain who these twerps are.

Perhaps I'm showing my age, but these two always struck me as a particularly uninteresting celebrity couple. They're both good actors as movie stars go and of course fine looking people. But the interest in them strikes me as the product of the entertainment media's need to have a Celebrity Marriage, a stock role that has existed since Doug Fairbanks and Mary Pickford. I mean, Brangelina is no Liz and Dick. Now THERE was a celebrity couple.

 

I get why people are obsessed with it. I mean, Brad Pitt long ago became synonymous with being incredibly good looking, i.e., "He's OK, but he's no Brad Pitt," and he's a damn good actor with quite a few iconic roles like Tyler Durden, Detective Mills and Aldo Raine.

Jolie was a made woman as soon as she starred as Lara Croft. She's also a terrific actress when she wants to be.

Plus, it's pretty intriguing to me that a couple was together for 12 years, but only married for the last two, and that just happened to be when it all came crashing down.
