I have nothing to add except this...

ELAINE: Andrea Doria? Isn't that the one they did the song about?

    JERRY: (Correcting her) Edmund Fitzgerald.

ELIANE: I love Edmund Fitzgerald's voice.

JERRY: (Gives Elaine a look) No, Gordon Lightfoot was the singer. Edmund Fitzgerald was the ship.

GEORGE: (Talking about his would-be apartment) You could fit 15 people in that bathroom..

ELAINE: I think Gordon Lightfoot was the boat.

JERRY: (Sarcastic) Yeah, and it was rammed by the Cat Stevens.

Just one question -- Was there a guy by the name of Jack Dawson being chased around on that ship by the hired servant of a rich guy whose fiance he was banging in the back of a Model T Ford?

Lightfoot turns 71 in six days.

  5. Kramer: It was all in my book "Astonishing Tales of the Sea."

He sings every Christmas Eve at HC's church. I've only seen him once but it's very, very cool.

I claim full responsibility for that DB.
But I never get sick of hearing that song although in my opinion, Lightfoot's greatest song was The Canadian Railway Trilogy. First or second album
