Allowing one independent photographer from the AP or Reuters or wherever, masked and trying to maintain distance, would harm nothing. So many pictures of students/fans not masked and sitting together all over the country yesterday.

Whoever crafted that policy has obviously never tried to produce a sports section on a shoestring budget. There are times where I don't care if Satan himself is shooting photos for me, as long as they're in focus, sent on time, and free to use with proper credit.

It's the AP. The annual fees they get from newspapers are highway robbery. No shoestring budget for them!

It's a basic ethics issue. We didn't run any photos of Duke's loss at Notre Dame, even though they were available on the ACC portal. AP, Getty, USATSI made the right move.

It’s horseshit on the part of Notre Dame. It’ll get resolved.
