Were the photos shot through a hotel room keyhole?

    I vote for Terrell Owens!

    This sentence made me laugh:

"The issue will feature naked athletes, not swimsuit models, in non-explicit poses....."

To say nothing of ESPN's credibility. I wonder if Erin Andrews will be part of the spread.

Danica has turned down Playboy, I don't think you'd see any more (less?) here than in the Swimsuit issues.

As for ESPN the Mag, ugh.

  5. Even still. ... for both this is clearly NOT a step in the right direction.

So she'll be naked. But you won't actually see nudity.

Kind of like I'm naked underneath my clothes. Gasp!

Direction to where? To me, this doesn't seem like a big deal at all. Not even a little deal. Just a stupid, gimmicky issue of non-importance.

Wake me when she accepts Playboy's offer.

Please! Leave me the illusion that you are wearing clothes under your clothes.

  9. You want to be credible right?
How is trotting out nude athletes for a magazine spread credible? For either a magazine (that, you know, has writers who cover said athletes) or the athletes, like Danica, whose sole claim to fame is a (semi) hot body and marrying a perv of a husband?
Yes, SI does a swimsuit issue, with models, not athletes.
This is the wrong direction to go in..

Oh to be the ESPN Ombudsman.

Dude. Take a deep breath. You sound like you're gonna start a protest.

And since when did ESPN care about being credible in the first place?

Since Jones and McGregor signed on.
