And ESPN has cut into the BYU game to show it.

Over. First Reds no-hitter since Tom Browning's perfect game in 1988.

Nats broadcast said McCutchen done? The Pirates collapse has been quite something

Don't know. All I saw was ninth inning.

As if the second half of the season wasn't bad enough.

All I wanted was a .500 season, was that really too much to ask for out of this team?

Meanwhile, the Red Sox collect just one hit against Baltimore. The hit was a leadoff bunt single where the ball was thrown away.

That's twice (at least) this year that the Pirates got all of one baserunner. Matt Cain one-hit them in April with the pitcher getting the only hit.

They did have two baserunners tonight -- Barmes reached on an error and McCutchen walked.

EDIT: Apparently they also had a couple baserunners against Verlander back in May.
