    are starting to approve bills dictating fines for saggy pants. I guess those drug and zoning problems are well taken care of. When colleges were in loco parentis, it was bad enough. But a city council doing so?

    I don't like the baggy pants, but it does seem to unfairly target both minorities and younger people. Beyond the "ick" factor of seeing someone's bum, what real issues does this address?

    I'm sure hip-hop culture is in the crosshairs of this movement.

    I agree that city councils shouldn't be wasing their time trying to keep people from ther inalienable right to look like complete jackasses.

    And just think, someone wanted to give all the power back to the states and cities. Not me. You think the U.S. government is bad? Look at most state and local government - just a big, steaming Roman clusterfuck.
