  2. I want to give him the benefit of the doubt, but by the time you're in your mid-40's, it seems like it would be pretty ingrained, regardless of a few months of time off and reflection. Maybe I'm wrong?

    I would say this is the first step in the "rehab" tour --- first is resign, then issue an apology of some sorts, then lay low, now -- go on a national show and do an interview where you claim you changed, then go to some siberia like Savannah State for a year or two - then get back to your career.......

    It worked for Petrino. It worked for Eustachy. It worked for how many other coaches over the years and it will work for Rice, too.
