Didn't see it posted anywhere but Seattle-area softball team wins 64-0 last week.

The title of this thread ought to garner Della a dozen Newbie of the Year votes alone.

When I saw this title, I thought it was about the College of Southern Idaho.

Me too. Thought it was a D_B.

What happened to the 60-run rule anyway?

I don't know, but I'm thankful I've never had to keep a score for a game like that.

Yeah, I think it was the "close shave" reference.

So he/she has been in the minor leagues, with a couple late-season call-ups for five years.

This isn't really that surprising in this high school league. My high school is in this conference and I remember when the Seattle schools merged with us. They tended to thrash us in basketball and we would hammer them in football and in the fringe sports that weren't tremendously popular in downtown Seattle.
Though 64-0 is a little excessive. I'd really like to see the score by innings.

    Good team (12)(12)(15) (15)(20) -- 64 2 0
    Bad team 000 000 -- 0 1 56

56 errors? Next time they should bring gloves.
