Why do teams keep hiring this guy as a head coach?

Predictably, Peter King is toeing the "What a good hire!" line on this one. But so did John Clayton.

 

Norv is a nice guy but he's an idiot. Why does he keep getting hired? Hey, why does the sun continue to shine? The only thing that separates him from the likes of say Jerry Glanville is that he's well liked.
