    Stunning.....hell of a stretch of deaths, and that doesn't even count the deaths of two high school friends at ages 38 and 37.

    Tomorrow is promised to no one. Live hard, love hard.

    Truly is a shame. They have a hell of a program and hopefully this won't hurt it trying to fill the slot at this time of year. Condolences to the family.

    Will always remember the Inside Sports story on Bo Rein, the LSU coach who died when the small plane he was on crashed in the Atlantic. Rein's flight was similar to the crash that killed Payne Stewart. Plane just flew on auto pilot until it crashed; theory was an oxygen issue.

    That sucks. I wonder if Mel will come back to fill the void for a year until they can hire another coach.

    My guess is the OC/Assistant Head Coach will coach the team this year.
