    Yes, I wanted to let everyone know that we've hired Jeremy Werner from the Paxton Record and Champaign News-Gazette. We're obviously very excited.

    Thanks to everyone who applied. I have tried to get back to everyone and if I missed anybody I apologize. We had a lot of great applicants.

    Congrats to Mr. Werner (despite my jealousy). :p

    But seriously, this is a dream job because I can sense that NIU is going to be having a few 9 or 10 win seasons coming up since they seem to really have consistency at whoever starts at running back for them.

    If I'm not mistaken, I believe that was a joke sans blue font. Bragging that you have a top 50 D-I football team is like Mike Bibby bragging about being the 119th highest scoring player in the NBA last season.

    True, but it's not like we're talking about a BCS big boy school among the top 50.
