There's a rink in South Africa?

Yup. Actually, the first time I knew of South African hockey was seeing a jersey at the Hockey Hall of Fame in 1999.

Was it Gunner Stahl after she made the glove save?

He also plays in goal, but he didn't have any saves, because the fearsome North Korean defense didn't allow a shot.

He actually plays every position simultaneously. The rest of the team is only there to bask in his awesomeness.

There's also one in northern Africa: Rabat, Morocco. The national team was just getting under way when I left.

The Wiki site of the Moroccan team lists their record against Algiers, but as of whenever that was updated Algiers still didn't have a rink.

Egypt has rinks, but no teams, according to the "Ice hockey in Africa" Wiki page.

There has to be an African country that'll hire Tortorella.

(I hope so because I want Tippett back in Dallas.)
