North County Times developments (rumor)

I heard from a co-worker tonight at our Lee newspaper that the North County Times in Escondido is shutting down its press and selling off the parts, with layoffs coming in the pressroom. He heard this from the IT guy (usually a very credible source), who knew about it mainly because our paper is thinking of buying one of their imaging machines.

This is the first I've heard of it. Is anybody on this board close to the situation there and know what's going on? And if this is true, where is the Times and Temecula Californian going to be printed?
