Kenny O'Brien was not a bad quarterback. If the Jets had an offensive line, he would not have spent numerous Sunday afternoons running for his life.

Yep. I can't believe I wasted a couple of minutes of my life coming up with a haiku about Dick Wood.

Huh, huh. I wrote Dick Wood.

The Lions can compete with the Jets. Jeff Komlo, Scott Mitchell, Chuck Long, Andre Ware, Charlie Batch, Joey Harrington, Bob Gagliano, Gus Frerotte, Mike McMahon, Rusty Hilger, Ty Detmer, Don Majkowski, Stoney Case -- and that's just since I started watching football. And I'm leaving off guys like Joe Ferguson, Dave Krieg and Jeff Garcia who actually did something elsewhere. The only ones they've had who were even close to someone like Ken O'Brien were Eric Hipple, Rodney Peete, Erik Kramer and Gary Danielson.

You already posted most, if not all, of the answers. Just thought it was funny that this popped up as a Sporcle quiz a while back.

I've always thought Scott Mitchell got a bad rap. Or at least one that exceeded his talents. Yes he tanked badly his last couple years with the Lions. But he did have a 4,000-yard season and got them to the playoffs once or twice. He wasn't entirely awful.

You forgot Walter Payton taking a few snaps out of the single-wing in 86 when all their QBs got hurt. He's a better QB than 95 percent of the guys on that list.
