This is like porn for Baylor fans everywhere. They hate TCU.

Sample comment from a BU messageboard:

Now, see, if you'd give these poor kids a little stipend or something, they wouldn't have to be out fronting drug operations. ::)

I'm guessing when this is all said and done there will be as many, if not more, fraternity & sorority kids involved as there are athletes.

Seems like Baylor's criminal sensibilities were offended. They're not the baddest felon on the Big 12 block anymore.

Get ready for big-time fallout on TCU's team.

According to the Fort Worth Star-Telegram, TCU coach Gary Patterson sprung a surprise drug test on his players on Feb. 1 (national signing day) because a prized recruit told the coach he would not be coming to TCU because of rampant drug use by the players.

The result: 82 players tested positive. Yes, that's 82. That is not a typo.

    Here's a link to the S-T story:

Edit: That 82 figure was what one of the alleged drug dealer-players told undercover cops.

And I'm sure he didn't lie about that...

Not saying the team is clean but why would anybody believe a fucking drug dealer trying to save his own ass?

    This. right. here.

Not to diminish what went on at TCU, but I'd lay odds something like that goes on to varying degrees at every D-1 school in the country. Rampant drug use (up to and including trafficking) among D-1 athletes goes on everywhere.

A prized recruit who didn't want to go there because of drug use? TCU needs to start recruiting the Dillon Panthers a bit more heavily.
