Well, that saves me from having to put the fucking Blue Jays on the front page.

 

Thing is, I agree.

 

It always will be the SkyDome to me.

Still makes my job on the desk tough tonight: Six local stories, five with photos. The NHL Draft (it's Canada!) and now this performance.

I just thank the baseball gods Thomas only hit 499, not 500.

 

It's games like this that restore my faith in the Jays and their chances at a Wild Card spot. They are seven back heading into today.

 

Who knew they had the balls to do it?

 

You'll pardon the rest of us while we chortle.

 

The Jays are one Roy Halladay away from being the Washington Nationals.

And Halladay is shelved.

 

He's back.

 

And made my Dodgers look like horseshit the other day.

 

I'm probably the biggest Jays fanboy looser on this board, but I don't even know if I could bring myself to type that.
