No new Imus thread?

I don't know anyone who CAN listen to Imus.

 

Well, it's not like he's the son of a former President who told his listeners he wants to stick grenades up the butts of 1-year-olds (on their birthday) in the Middle East to fight terrorism.

Oh yeah, that wasn't a big deal either.

 

And it sounds like just one of many things that nut case has said.

 

Can't someone just create a thread titled, "How is Don Imus Proving That He's a Racist Today"?

 

Maybe, but if I'm Imus the only time I mention ANY color is if I'm talking about playing dirty billiards with my wife.

 

Don Imus is a racist. The Rutgers situation was one of the least inflammatory things he's said on air.

He shouldn't have been fired for saying "nappy-headed hoes." He should have been fired because he's an out-and-out racist pig.

 

I think people need to get a grip.

He was trying to be funny. He failed. Move on.

 

'Cept he really doesn't enjoy ANY latitude in that specific "humorous" direction, any more.

 

Imus sucks. He has for decades. But people completely overreacted over the Rutgers debacle and they're overreacting over this.

Stop listening to him and he'll go away.

 

I think there's a 100 percent chance we haven't heard the entire segment, just that soundbite. I'd like to hear the whole thing.

 

Just because you can relate to him doesn't mean others can't be offended.
