This is good news. As someone who was glad when he left the Chicago Tribune, I remain elated that he's once again losing a job. Burn in Hell, Skip.

    Sincerely,

    Doc

    This Deadspin post deserves immortalization:

One quibble: He's not worse than Mariotti. NOBODY'S worse than Mariotti. Well, Rob Parker maybe, but we're talking about real professional journalists here.

Parker gets a pass from me because he's an unabashed baseball fan, but I must agree nobody's worse than Jay.

  7. I forget - is Bayless the guy who looks like Skeletor with a toupe?

Hey big lead, I noticed you posted the Doug Krikorian bit about him hitting on the young hotties.
    http://thebiglead.com/?p=871

But come clean and say that you stole it from SportsJournalists.com...

actually, a bunch of our readers are in LA. while we are/were big-time lurkers here, didn't see that. thanks for the link.

but yeah, we get some emails from LA folks. hence today's interview with Simers. and the Bill D stuff.

    hmmmmm.

Where'd you get the link for the picture you used? It's not on anything current on the press telegram web site... That pic is at least three years old... They don't even use that pic any more... yet the one you used has the exact same web properties of the one I posted.

Just come clean and say that you got the idea from another website... All's fair in the blogging world, right?
