    I was going for Holloman, but that's pretty good, too. Breitenstein's came in the American Association the year after that league was torn apart by defections to the Players' League. The AA disbanded after 1891, and the St. Louis Cardinals (then Browns) joined the National League (the Reds, Pirates and Dodgers were all in the AA before joining the NL, too.)

    The MASN graphic lists the Red Sox's "CG no-hitters." Uh, if you don't complete the game, it's not a no-hitter.
