No way. You need a run here.

How many more than 89 is he going to throw?

Yeah but he might hit 100 pitches in the 8th and then his arm will fall off.

The Mets could dump Heilman and pick up Turnbow. :)

Depends how he's pitching the last couple of innings. If he's been dominant, I leave him in. Let Manny overwork the bullpen another day.

Look at the Nats produce a run.

the Mets would have popped up three times with the guy on second and nobody out.

Sweet. But I don't feel good about one being enough.

    Willie's going to the 'pen.

Moddy, congrats on the 4-0 win.

Would have been nice to see Pelfrey -- a Wichita kid who played at Wichita State -- get the no-no. I'll settle for him not being a flamethrower, like he has been at times during his career to date.

That's what the Nats usually do.
I'd feel really f-ing good with a home run here.

Two out, none on, Guy. What are you gaining by pinch hitting for Pelfrey and going to the poison pen?

Even though Pelfrey just gave up a run, I'm not knocking Willie (now there's a first) for leaving him in.

Fuck you, old man. I'm sending you a bill for this nasty cut I have on my head from falling over in shock. :D

Ahh hell I'll just call Chef and have him talk me thru stitching it up with some plywood and nails I have lying around.
