No Country for Old Men -- 7/8ths of a great movie

    It's by no means my favorite McCarthy book, that's Blood Meridian by a nose over All the Pretty Horses, but it's a good book and a great film.

    Probably my favorite Tommy Lee Jones performance, too.

    It's behind Gary Gilmore in The Executioner's Song and Sam Gerard in the Fugitive for me, but, man, not by much. What a face.
