No coach, it wasn't your best game

Local small school high played a girls basketball game against out-of-town smaller school with five girls. The other team has a girl foul out in the first half and plays the entire second half with four players. At one point, they have a girl get hurt, so it's 5-on-3 for two minutes.
Well out-of-town high killed the penalty and won the game.
What does local small high have to say?
"It was our best game this year."
Sorry, coach, if you can't beat a short-handed team, it was anything but your best game. If you can't out score a team where you have an entire half with an open offensive player and a guaranteed double team on defense, your girls did not play their best game.

 

I was hoping for "We know how to play against a box and one, but that triangle and none totally messed us up."

 

Local small high needs to adopt the four-pass strategy.

 

How good is the team with the 5-on-4 and 5-on-3 normally? There are some pretty putrid teams out where I am, where basically they have one player who can even remotely score, and the rest would have troubles even if left wide open.

 

Why does stuff like this bother some of you guys? Coaches and parents can be idiots. Don't sweat it so much that every little slight, insult or ridiculous statement they make makes you so angry you rush to post a thread. Life's too short.

 

They've won two games this year. Honestly, it's a down year for them and they don't have any semblance of a shooter, they haven't broken 40 points this year.
But how bad is your defense if you can't play defense well enough to beat a short-handed team?

 

Had a girls game here where it was 2-1 after the first quarter. Losing coach yells at his players, "How are you losing and you only gave up two points!"
It's because they can't play offense, and he knows it. He made them run plays throughout halftime instead of going to the locker room.
