No.1-ranked college football team on pay per view

Help me out. Is this rare? Florida-FIU will be PPV only. It's not like I have been paying close attention, but does anybody know of a similar PPV game for a No.1-ranked team at any point in a season, much less in November?

 

The last time I remember seeing FIU on TV, it turned into a brawl, so maybe they're going for the boxing and MMA crowds here.

Someone else showed a lot of heart that day.

 

Is Lamar Thomas part of the broadcast team for this weekend's game?

It's a piece of shit game. Cannon fodder for Florida, money for FIU. What network would want it?

 

Texas did a similar thing earlier this season for a game against Louisiana-Monroe.

 

Still not getting anybody on point about my original question, or maybe that is the answer.
