    then maybe they should grow thicker skin... I've combed the constitution and nowhere does it say we have the right to not be offended.

    The crown of thorns was a little over the top.
    I would have sent the kid home as well, not for the costume, but for the disruption it was causing at the school.

    I say he should have just chosen some other imaginary creature to dress up as, and no one would have looked twice.

    Give me a fucking break!!! If you are going to allow kids to dress up for Halloween and come to school isn't that a little disrupting to the education process?? Sorry I call bullshit on that arguement. Next year he should dress as Mohommed and carry a machine gun, at least then if someone claims to be offended it would be a legit excuse!

    yeah, that's a bit over, but the point is valid. kids in costumes hopped up on candy? inherently disruptive.
