Nine-Year-Old Shot Multiple Times, Killed

A stray bullet is one thing, but how the hell does a 9-year-old get shot multiple times?

 

Which racist cop did it?

I can't fathom what it's like to live in a neighborhood where children occasoinally get shot and killed.

It rubs people the wrong way, but YF is basically right in these threads: How can we not, as a society, as a nation, stand up and absolutely demand that something be done about inner-city violence? It is flat-out a decades long humanitarian crisis, in our backyard. And nobody cares.

 

I'm seriously trying to understand how he was shot multiple times.

Was the child targeted?

 

Because it's the same as fixing schools. All you need to do is solve poverty first.

 

Mistaken identity?

 

Who do you mistake a 9-year-old for?

 

Right. Then we should be raging about that. Whatever the cause is.

But nobody cares. Even when the talk is inequality, and both sides preach that gospel, it's never in the name of curbing crime. Not anyone. No one cares about crime any more, because the rate has gone down, for one thing, and for another, nobody cares about black people or Hispanic people shooting each other.

 

I don't know. I don't know how far away the shooter was. I don't know how tall the 9-year-old was.

I can't think of a better explanation. Gang cross fire? Two shooters?

 

This would be a db except ole Red Ass took my thread down on topic.
This won't stop until the community decides they want it too. Meanwhile
the protests in Ferguson continue. Black on black crime don't talk about it,
but a white cop kills a black man who robbed a convenience store- burn down
the town.

He had run off from his house after his mom (over the phone) told him he couldn't have a cupcake.
