It wasn't blackface, honest.... just some make-up to darken his skin. Homeland Security Halloween party asks and answers the question: How stupid can your public servants be?

The link to FEMA's fake press conference is equally, if not more, disturbing.

Who knew what a pioneer Steve Phillips was for the fake media?

  5. Was there a place to check off "Utterly Shit For Brains" on the federal job application over the past seven years?

Is this really news? Some dumb SOB wears an offensive costume to an office party and it's national news? I'm not buying it.

It's a big enough deal that Chertoff is looking into it. Profiling probably shouldn't look like so much fun.

That takes it beyond "one-jerkoff-making-a-dumb-mistake" territory.

That moves it into "let's-all-laugh-at-the-darkies" territory.

But that, of course, is the way this bunch thinks.

Ron: Well, take it or leave it.

Newman: Take it or leave it!? We got *Al Jolson* here, *Al Jolson*!!

Ron: Now what the Hell do I care about Al Jolson. I'd just assume her

you sing "Mammy". Heh heh heh...

Kramer: [In Newman's ear] This guy's nothin' but a piece of crap...

Newman: You are nothing but a piece of crap.

So, everyone who works for the government is a racist?

  12. No, but an unusual number of people who are working in it now seem to be.
