The beautiful thing is that on their Customer Service page, they have this:

    Hilarious.

I have friends who work for them. I'm torn about whether to mention something.

I am SHOCKED that someone found something done by TWC to be sloppy. SHOCKED, I tell ya. Looking forward to the next mid-day loss of service, and then reboot of my box. Good times.

    They really do suck.

My buddies who work for them sell door-to-door. Straight rip. They offer a ridiculously good starting package.

My buddies make money, but they all say it's shit.

For the record, the one TWC guy I've had service my cable (shut up) was fantastic.

My guys don't service. They sell, door to door. Town to town.

It's good money, but most of them hate it.

Hey, now, be serious. Notice the name of the region on the upper right of that customer service page? It's not "Northeast Idaho" or something real; it's "Model." You can reach it from Time-Warner's home page if you claim that your zip code is 99999, which no serious customer ought to be doing. (They company probably should have made "Model" off-limits without a proper password.) It appears that the IT guys are supposed to modify the "Model" page with real phone numbers and other contact information, then save it using the name of an actual region.

Yeah, I know it's a template, but still that's what their Contact Us link led me to. If you don't think to click on Change Your Location that's what you get.

Today when going straight to http://www.timewarnercable.com/ it all works just fine. I just want to find out what channels I can watch my In Demand baseball for free for the next couple days!!
