Nice athletes and coaches

  1. Tony Gwynn, and it's not even close.
    Answered every question, and made you feel like he enjoyed the 1-on-1 interview.

    The dumb one who kept demanding "white zimfendale" at the party my event company/restaurant managed for him. Same one who couldn't believe he actually got a bill.

    No, I mean personally. At least in my experience anyway -- he went completely out of his way and was exceptionally considerate in a setting that had NOTHING to do with racing.

    I don't have the experience with pro/major colleges that many of you do, but in my limited experience in that field, here are the people I came away impressed with:

    1. Shaun Hill. Always tells me to call his cell any time and always small talks after the interview.
    2. Tom Watson. Such a down-to-earth dude. When he found out I was from Kansas City, he turned into the interviewer.
    3. Bill Self

    And from the world of soccer:
    1. Ron Newman (former San Diego Sockers, Kansas City Wiz(ards) coach).
    2. Mia Hamm
    3. Cobi Jones
