How much salary will the Flames have to dump to make room for Jokinen?

By our count, the Flames added about $3.5 million in salary today. They had $140,000 in cap room. You can never be over.

Either someone is being put on LTI or the team is waiting to do something else.

Lombardi was at $1.8, Jokinen is at $5.25, and the Flames are tight against it already.

My guess is someone like Aucoin, and the aforementioned $4 million UFA contract, has to go to get them under the cap.

Mystery team? When did Scott Boras get involved in hockey?

That's what I thought. Immediate moves have to be made.

So much for NHL not being popular ... it's the top trending topic on Twitter.

Jokinen is a major head case. I don't he has ever played in a playoff game.

He hasn't, as I noted earlier.

From the ESPN live trade deadline blog:
Kind of surprised that the Bruins haven't yet moved Manny Fernandez. He's a UFA and with Thomas entrenched as the No. 1 and Tukka Rask seemingly ready to play at the NHL level, why not deal Fernandez and get something for him?
