The playoffs always bring out the overreaction in people. It also brings out the casual experts.

I agree. I still think Vancouver will win its series, probably in six games. But damn did they look sloppy last night. I thought they were great for the first 10 minutes. Then after they got that goal it seemed like they got really lax.

Philly made a habit of coming back from down 2-0 throughout the last 10-12 games of the regular season, so I wasn't surprised the Flyers came back and won that game. I was a little surprised that Pittsburgh didn't put the hammer down and get that fourth goal.

I don't know how to do a screen grab, but this is hilarious.

Here's a picture of Rick Vaive on the Toronto Star's website today.

    And here's the photo cutline:

Former Toronto Maple Leafs captain Rick Vaive adjusts his tie as he enters a courthouse where he is expected to receive his sentence on impaired driving charges in Newmarket.

Only problem is......he was acquitted. Presumptuous much?

EDIT: Erroneous cutline already gone. Shit.

Why isn't Vaive carrying his Gatorade bottle?

Not a hockey diehard by all means, but I love the Cup playoffs. And I could listen to Emrick day and night.

Caps have seven shots. Through two periods. They've been on penalty kill all night.

    And it is scoreless

    Still scoreless. Bonus hockey.

A rocket by Kelly to win in a short OT for the Bruins.
Or, as Elliotte tweeted, a Korean Rocket

As much as I loved Holtby's moxie tonight, that goal was the sort of thing that worried me about him. He gambles, and he was way too far out of the net on that play and gave Kelly a huge target to shoot for.

Sharks and Blues in OT as well.
