    Hi everyone,

I'm a freelance journalist at the beginning of his career and I've been given an assignment that I'm having a hard time researching and was hoping someone could provide some help:

What are some restaurants/bars where NHL players like to hang out?

Any help you could provide would be great.

    Thanks!

I'm going to work on the assumption that you're not a sock puppet troll and give you an actual honest response.

    1) What's the actual assignment? Because unless it's literally "what are some restaurants/bars where NHL players like to hang out," you're not doing it right.

    2) There are how many NHL teams times how many restaurants/bars in each of those cities? Millions?

    3) Usually when building credibility with a source, one doesn't skip right ahead to "so, where do you like to spend your free time?"

You could try The Aces, if you can figure out who the decent items are.

As Dickie Dunn put it, we're all trying to capture the spirit of the moment.

The assignment is more about restaurants/bars where big deals have been penned but I figure the best way to approach that would be to figure out where players like to hang out. For example, Centro in Toronto has a large hockey crowd but am finding it difficult to find others...

Sources confirm that hockey players hang out at hockey rinks.
