Yup ... would his head exploding really be a bad idea?

If Mike Keenan lasts two full years, I'll be shocked.

    It'd be a much-needed thing.

Two years, I would be even more surprised if he lasted longer than six months. I am not sure Calgary made a great choice here. Rough time in Calgary just got rougher.

I wonder how long it will take for Keenan to go after Jarome Iginla, just to get the team's attention ...

I don't think Keenan will go after Iginla, Phaneuf and Kipper. I think he'll go after players he deems as soft.

Yup ... like Lombardi or Huselius.

Both of you are probably right. But Keenan seems to enjoy stirring things up too much to label anyone - deserved or not - off-limits.

One thing that will keep Keenan somewhat in line is Sutter. I don't think he has had a GM as strong headed as Sutter before, so he may not be able to quite tear the team apart.

Forgot about the brewery, was just referencing the CTV tv show from a few years ago (name escapes me right now) that had an NHL team in Hamilton named the Steelheads. I think it was supposed to be some kind of fish or something.
