Of their group of UFAs, the Stars will attempt to re-sign Darryl (is it one or two Rs? I can never remember?) Sydor before the signing period starts. The other guys will be out on the market come July 1.

Tomas Vanek should have gotten a nod for the Selke and Thornton should have gotten some consideration. Shocked more by Vanek.

Hey is anyone going to the NHL Awards Show?

Moves the Rangers need to make:

Re-sign Michael Nylander and Brendan Shanahan; Shanny won't cost a ton, one year, $3 or $4 million.

Sign UFA's Scott Gomez and Sheldon Souray.

Let Sandis Ozolinsh, Darius Kasparitis and Kevin Weekes walk, along with buying out Karel Rachunek.

Thanks Elliotte. I couldn't find an updated list of UFAs.

Completely forgot that Whitney re-upped in April. Thanks, Elliotte.

Now the focus is on Scott Walker ... unless I missed that one, too.

The Anaheim Ducks signed left wing Travis Moen and right wing George Parros each to two-year contract extensions, it was announced today. Both players are now under contract through the end of the 2008-2009 season.

Leafs signed Sundin to a one year 5.5 million deal.

Do the Leafs have any cap room to sign someone to help Sundin?

Any thoughts on the upcoming draft? Devils are without a first-round pick right now.
