The Capitals did the right decision to trade Filip Forsberg to the Predators.

Of course, who wouldn't for Erat?

    Those Caps arguments were fun

Was thinking of that heist last week. Good lord, what a f*** up.

Did I hear correctly Connor McDavid broke his hand? In a fight? ::)

Yes, he injured his hand last night in a fight against Mississauga. No word that it is broken but he was seeing a specialist in Toronto today.

    Thanks, Huggy.
Just seemed strange to me the injury was the result of a fight. However, I know nothing of the circumstances leading up to the fisticuffs.

Have seen some mention that he wrecked his hand on the glass or the top of the boards.

From the video Gehrig provided, it sure looks like that could be the case.

Broke his hand. Out four to six weeks:

For those wondering, the 5th metacarpal fracture is common. It's referred to as the "boxer's fracture"

Flipped between Nashville-Toronto and Islanders-Tampa Bay last night. What a debacle at ACC. I don't know if the Isles are for real but they have been fun to watch so far. The trades just prior to the regular season added even more depth and I think we all can agree Halak and Johnson are a huge upgrade. Very impressive trip west a week to two weeks ago. Some big division games straight ahead including, I think, back-to-back tilts with Pittsburgh.

Watched Ducks-Flames for a nightcap. While I think Nashville has staying power and the Islanders might, not much faith here Calgary is going to keep this up. Love watching the Johnny Gaudreau kid, reminds me of Fleury. Durability due to size is a legitimate question now but I think there's the potential the Flames could put 15-20 more pounds on him.

Jack Johnson files for bankruptcy. This story just upsets me in all kinds of way.

Ryan Kesler returns to Vancouver tonight. What reaction will he get from Canucks fans?
