You could put $7 on the ML on the Redskins and get basically the same payout at a fraction of the risk. Of course, the likelihood of winning is much less/remote/not happening, but at least you don't have basically 2Gs at risk.

 

Oh, it's only a sensible bet for the whales. The absolute amount of return matters, too.

 

In 2007, I remember my guy stopped taking action on the Pats ML. There wasn't a ML high enough to sway his bettors from taking the Pats and he was getting cleaned out. I suspect we're only a couple wins away from him doing it again.
