    Looks like worst is confirmed for Smith. After rumors that he would play through the injury this season, looks like he will be IR'd and the Steelers will resign sonny harris.

    That is now a very average defense. I doubt Polamalu is going to be 100 percent any time soon, if at all this season. Smith is a huge loss, especially against the run. And keeping James Farrior instead of Larry Foote is looking like a mistake. Farrior looks very slow, which is a big reason why they are getting killed on passes over the middle.
