Similar to when the Chiefs hired Crennel in large part to a meaningless victory over the Packers late in the season.

Love this Jim Harbaugh story by Wickersham.

No disrespect to Seth, and I'll read it because I usually read him, but enough with the fucking Harbaughs already.

Mark Davis is worth half a billion dollars. Why would he sell? What else is he going to do?

Asshole is used to creating difficulties for others. Not much of a take.
A more interesting story would be how good people choose to cope with him.

The Niners did the same thing with Singletary. That worked out well. :D

I just started this story, but ...

There's a late-night bar story told in NFL circles about Peyton Manning's free-agent visit with the 49ers in 2012. Harbaugh and Manning were throwing the ball, so it goes, when the coach couldn't help but remark that his passes had more mustard on them than the still-rehabbing future Hall of Famer's did. You can guess how that went over.

    OK. I'm in.

According to the article, the bookend to that photo is that after Harbaugh resurrected his career with the Colts Ditka sent him a note that he was always his biggest fan, which Harbaugh says "meant a lot to me." Nice story.

The article proves if nothing else, Harbaugh is always upfront about himself and its up to others to decide if they like him or not; nothing faked.
